On 3-4 September 2020, in the format of a videoconference, scheduled consultations between representatives of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) member states on the agenda of the 75th session of the UN General Assembly were held.
The participants discussed a range of issues of cooperation between the parties within the framework of international and regional organizations, including the UN, and outlined the priorities of their countries on the agenda of the 75th session of the UN General Assembly.
In this context, detailed information was also given on our priority issues and the need to take joint and coordinated measures to counter the infectious disease COVID-19 and other global security challenges and threats were emphasized.
