On October 16, 2020, in Dushanbe Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Muzaffar Huseinzoda received a copy of credentials from the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Michel Tarran.
During the meeting the sides discussed issues of bilateral Tajik-French relations in various spheres, including the outcomes of the official visit of the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan H.E. Mr. Emomali Rahmon to France on November 7-12, 2019, as well as emphasized importance of organization of joint scheduled activities after the normalization of epidemiological situation in the world.
