On February 3, 2021, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Muzaffar Huseynzoda received the Ambassador of the United States of America to the Republic of Tajikistan John Mark Pommersheim.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the development of relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the United States of America in political and economic spheres, also cooperation within the framework of USAID programs as well as other relevant mechanisms.
The need to continue joint efforts to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) was noted.
