Tajik-Ukrainian political consultations

 

On 17 May 2021, the second round of political consultations were held between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and Ukraine. The delegations were led by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sodiq Imomi and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Eugene Enin.

The heads of delegations discussed the state and prospects for the development of bilateral relations in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, exchanged views on regional security and interaction between countries within the framework of international organizations. The sides expressed the readiness and mutual interest for further development of friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries in all spheres.

During the political consultations sides agreed to adopt the Program of cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and Ukraine for 2021-2022, to be signed by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin and Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba.    

Upon the completion of negotiations, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin received the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Eugene Enin.
