On August 18, 2021, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sirojiddin Muhriddin had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu at the initiative of the Turkish side.
The ministers discussed the state and prospects of bilateral relations between Tajikistan and Turkey. The sides emphasized interest on strengthening bilateral political, trade, economic and cultural relations, as well as the development of cooperation in the fields of tourism and education.
The interactions between the two countries within the framework of international organizations and current situation in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan also were discussed during the telephone conversation.
