Political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Turkey were held in Ankara on 25 October 2021, during which the Tajik delegation was headed by the Deputy Head of the Middle East and African countries Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Muhammadi Muzaffar while the Turkish delegation was lead by Director General for Bilateral Political Affairs (Caucasia, Central Asia and Eastern Europe) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Yonet Can Tezel.
During the consultations the sides discussed the development of bilateral and multilateral relations between Tajikistan and Turkey, the ways to further strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation in the fields of economy and trade, investment, transportation, education and culture, security and expansion and improvement of the legal framework .
The parties also had a constructive talks on strengthening cooperation in the framework of International and Regional Organizations and other issues of mutual interest.
