On December 2, 2021, on the sidelines of the Planet Budapest 2021 Sustainability Expo and Summit the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sharaf Sheralizoda met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Levente Magyar.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the current state and prospects for the development of mutually beneficial relations between Tajikistan and Hungary in the political, economic, water and energy, cultural and educational spheres.
The sides expressed deep interest in expanding and strengthening ties between the two friendly countries in areas of mutual interest, and stressed the importance of continuing cooperation within the regional and international organizations.
