On 1 February 2021, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Muzaffar Huseynzoda received the newly appointed Representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) to the Republic of Tajikistan Dr. Victor Olsavszky.

During the meeting the sides exchanged views on cooperation between Tajikistan and the WHO, including the prevention and control of the spread of coronavirus disease (Covid-19).
