On 26 October 2020, in Cairo the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan Zarobiddin Kosimi met with the Assistant Foreign Minister of the Arab Republic of Egypt for Asian Affairs, Tariq Al-Wasmi.
The Tajik diplomat conveyed the greetings of the leadership of Tajikistan and the Minister of Foreign Affairs to the Egyptian side and confirmed the interest of the Tajik side in strengthening and expanding cooperation with the friendly Egypt.
Aspects and possibilities of expanding mutually beneficial cooperation have been discussed in detail at the meeting. The Egyptian side also stressed its interest in enhancing cooperation and expanding bilateral ties.
