On 3 July 2022, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Akram Karimi met with the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia Waleed Al-Khuraiji.
During the meeting, a message by the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Leader of the Nation, H.E. Emomali Rahmon, addressed to the King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud was conveyed.
The parties also discussed the state and prospects of bilateral and multilateral relations between Tajikistan and Saudi Arabia and emphasized the importance of holding the next round of political consultations between the Foreign Ministries of the two countries in 2022.
